About the Founders
David Hibbard, M.D., is a Family Medicine physician with 40 years of experience including extensive international experience. He is a pioneer in the field of integrating alternative medicine with allopathic. He was a Peace Corps volunteer teacher in Nigeria for 2 years and a Peace Corps physician in India for another 2 years. Dr. Hibbard is the co-founder with Dr. Christine Hibbard of the Family Medical Center in Boulder, Colorado, which offers both allopathic and alternative medical approaches to healing and now has 10 additional physicians.
Christine Hibbard, Ph.D, is a transformational psychologist, educator, psychotherapist and author. She co-founded the Family Medical Center, and is the Director of the Louisville Biofeedback and Stress Management Clinic. Dr. Hibbard is on the faculty of the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Global Health Department, Holos University, and former core faculty at Naropa University. She has spent the last eleven years working with post war trauma and conflict in Kosovo, Israel, and Uganda, teaching trainings in Mind/ Body/ Spirit Medicine. She is a pioneer in the fields of Alternative and Energy Medicine, and has served as the past president of ISSSEEM, the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energy and Energy Medicine, and past president of CAAPB. In addition to being a noted lecturer and clinician, Dr. Hibbard is published in professional journals and books, serves as an ordained Interfaith Minister, and is a member of the Transformational Leadership Council.
